At Commonshall Spaniels we breed, train, and successfully compete in field trials with dogs that are carefully selected for their natural working ability and temperament.
Commonshall Spaniels is run by Ronan Gorman who has been a consistently successful field trial competitor and has made up multiple Field Trial Champion English Springer Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels.
Our dogs consistently qualify for, and have been placed at both the Kennel Club’s (British) Spaniel Championships and the Irish Kennel Club Spaniel Championships.
Ronan Gorman is a respected ‘A’ panel judge for spaniels under both Kennel Club and Irish Kennel Club rules and has judged the Irish Kennel Club AV Spaniel Championships in 2021 and the Irish Kennel Club Championship for Cocker Spaniels in 2024. He has also represented Ireland in international gundog tests and has substantial practical experience in training and shooting over spaniels.
